Verdict Research, a specialist in research and analysis in the retail sector, asked us to help with a rebranding project providing us with some initial internally designed drafts using a typeface that they particularly liked. Taking Avant Garde as our starting point we devised a flexible system where the logo could be used as a header or footer, or indeed used as an isolated logo in more creative situations. This freedom was essential to a company that delivers its research online as well as producing hundreds of documents and presentations, but equally the brand needed to be strong and simple to provide reassurance to their clients. The Verdict tag gives a playful nod to the retail market and the full point after the name suggests ‘the final word’ on retail research and opinion.
